Today, for the first time in program history, the Quinnipiac Bobcats are ranked the #1 team in the USCHO.com Division I Men's Poll, grabbing 41 of 50 first place votes. The Bobcats were also vote #1 in the USA Today/USA Hockey rankings taking 28 of 34 first place votes in that poll. This goes along with their #1 ranking in the all-important PairWise, used to seed the national tournament.
To see Quinnipiac at the pinnacle of the sport is something everyone in Bobcat Nation can take pride in. To be mentioned in the same breath as the Minnesotas and Boston Colleges of D-I hockey is a phenomenal testament to the strength of the program and the dedication of the player’s, coaching staff, athletic department, university president, and all the fans.
